Durga Saptshatipath And Hawan At Nainadevi

Goddess Durga is the Adi shakti and she is the protector of the universe. Durga Saptashati is a auspicious text dedicated to Goddess Durga. Durga Saptashati tells the story of the battle between Goddess Durga and Mahishasura and this path is a collection of 700 Mantras. The Durga Saptashati path is divided in to 13 chapters and these chapters contains 700 mantras that is why this path is called Durga Saptashati. Itis believed that the Durga saptashati path was written by sage Markandey. Durga saptashati path is also known as chandi path.

At first Kalash is established on spot of puja. Then the Kalash is filled with help of coconut and mango leaf's. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of devotees. Then invoking of Goddess Durga is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then Pujariji recites Durga Saptashtipath. Later Pujariji sets fire in the Hawan Kund and performs the Hawan vidhi. At last Arti of Goddess Chandi is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.
