Sakhi Gopal - Nitya Shrungar

Vishnu Sahasranama is a puja in which there is a list of 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. Vishnu Sahasranama is mentioned in the Anushasana Parva of the Mahabharata, an ancient Indian epic. The Vishnu Sahasranama is organized as a conversation between Yudhishthira and the sage Vyasa. It appears as a powerful spiritual discipline that encourages dedication and a closer relationship with God.

The Gopal Sahasranama consist 1000 names of "Lord Krishna". Through this puja devotees can connect with the Lord Krishna. In the Gopal Sahasranama, every term or epithet promotes and celebrates Lord Krishna, emphasizing various aspects of his divine nature, qualities, actions, and physical forms. 

"Nitya" means "Daily" and "Puja" means ritualistic worship. Nitya Puja involves various rituals, prayers and offerings. Nitya Puja is considered an essential practice for the devotees, as it fosters spiritual discipline, devotion, and a sense of connection with the divine.

In the Natvar Shrungar Lord Krishna will be worshiped. Lord Krishna is commonly depicted wearing garments that reflect his divine nature and pastoral origins. Offering this types of garments in the form of Shrungar is counted to be very auspicious.

The word "Nitya" means "Daily" and "Shrungar" means "Ornamentation". According to this ritual, God and Goddesses are decorated with various clothing, jewelry, flowers, and other accessories. This daily Shrungar is a part of worship and offering such things to the god.
