Akshardham Temple, also known as Swaminarayan Temple, is located near Vaishali Nagar, Chitrakoot, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Swami Narayan. Akshardham Temple was founded by Bochasanwasi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sansthan. The temple has Hari Mandapam, where one can find a 7-foot gold-leafed Murti of Lord Swaminarayan. The statue of Lord Narayan is ornamented with silver and gold. The temple also has two small shrines with statues of Lord Ganesh, Lord Krishna and Shiva Parvati. The walls of the temple are covered with beautiful paintings, sculptures, carvings and mantras that motivate the visitors and fill them with faith and positive energy.
