About ISKCON Mayapur

ISKCON Mayapur is one of the most significant and spiritual centers for followers of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It is located in Mayapur, a town in the Nadia district of West Bengal, India, and holds great religious, historical, and cultural significance, especially for followers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. That was Believed to be the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486), the 16th-century saint and proponent of the Hare Krishna movement. The largest annual festival at ISKCON Mayapur, celebrating the birth of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
