About Jalakandeswarar Temple
Jalakandeswarar Temple is located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a fine example of Vijayanagaram architecture. The temple is surrounded by water in the shape of a ring since it is situated in the centre of a water tank. The major festivals celebrated at the temple are Vinayaka Chaturthi, Chaitra Poornima, Mahashivaratri, Aadipooram and Navarathri. The best time to visit this temple is during April, May and October or November.
