The Kapaleeshwarar Temple is located in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a perfect example of the Dravidian style of architecture, which was constructed during the 7th century. Here, Lord Shiva's wife, Mata Parvati, is worshipped in the form of Karpagambal, who is known as the goddess of wish-yielding tree. Panguni Peruvila, Terotsavam and Brahmotsavam are important festivals of this temple. The best time to visit this temple is from October to January.
