About Kotasattemma Temple
The Kotasattemma Temple is located in the city of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kotasattemma. The temple was constructed during the Chalukya period by Chalukya Veerabadhra, the spouse of Rudrama Devi. The idol of Goddess Kotasattemma was immersed due to many calamities during the Reddy Dynasty. In the year 1934 the idol of the temple was found by Devulapalli Rama Murthy Sastri in his land and later he went on to contruct the temple.
