Temples in West Godavari

The Kotasattemma Temple is located in the city of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kotasattemma. The temple was constructed during the Chalukya period by Chalukya Veerabadhra, the spouse of Rudrama Devi. The idol of Goddess Kotasattemma was immersed due to many calamities during the Reddy Dynasty. In the year 1934 the idol of the temple was found by Devulapalli Rama Murthy Sastri in his land and later he went on to contruct the temple.

The Sri Maddi Anjaneya Temple is located in the city of West Goadavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The idol in the temple is about 3 feet tall. It is believed that doing 108 pradakshinas around the temple can help for marraige for the unmarried boys and girls. The temple was built in the year 1166 A.D.

The Sri Mavullamma Vari Temple is located in the city of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mavullamma. It is believed that the temple is located at the same place where Goddess Mavullamma had born. It is believed that the idol in the temple had appeared in the year 1200 A.D but the writing on the marble in the tempe says that the idol had appeared in the year 1880 A.D
