Mammiyur Temple, located in Guruvayoor, Thrissur district of Kerala, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is the main god, represented by the idea of "Uma Maheshwara"—that is, in his form with Goddess Parvathi to his left. Here is also a shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Shivaratri and Ashtami Rohini are the important festivals of this temple. The best time to visit this temple is from October to February.
