The Pandrethan temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was built during the 8th century by Meru, a minister of King Partha, who was the ruler of Kashmir. It is believed that a great fire destroyed the city of Pandrethan in 960 CE. The temple as the only surving structure in the city after the fire.
