About Rangji Temple Pushkar

Devoted to Lord Vaikuntha Venkatesh, the new Rangji temple is among the most ancient temples in Pushkar. This temple is known for its mesmerizing architectural design, including the high-rising Gopuram, which is common amongst several South Indian temples, followed by a beautiful entrance. The temple, through its layout, also carries the essence of Mughal architecture. Inside the temple, it is also found that four corners are embedded with Garuda, signifying the presence of Vaikuntha Venkatesh. Among the temple sections, there are other temples that are dedicated to various gods, including Goddess Laxmi and Lord Krishna, among others.

The temple was built in 1823 by Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal of Hyderabad. The cultural influences of India are reflected by the temple. The temple is built in Dravidian gopuram as per the South Indian style temple building. Thus, the temple has its own importance and significance, which attracts the people.
