Rinmukteshwar Mahadev Temple is located at two places in Madhya Pradesh: Ujjain and Omkareshwar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that visiting here liberates devotees from all their debts, be it Pitra Rin, Dev Rin, Guru Rin or any other debt. Rinmukteshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient and highly revered Shiva temple located in the city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. This temple is especially famous for devotees who wish to get rid of financial debt or other problems. History and religious significance of the temple It is said that Rinmukteshwar Mahadev Temple is mentioned in old stories. It is believed that King Harishchandra worshiped Lord Shiva here, as a result of which he was freed from debt. Apart from this, Lord Shri Krishna narrated Shri Shiva Sahasranaamaavali to Sudama ji here. The temple is located on the banks of the Mokshadayini Shipra River, which is one of the major religious places in Ujjain. Lord Shiva is worshipped under a tree located here. Visiting the temple in the method of worship and special rituals removes all types of debts of the devotees. Special worship and rituals are organized here especially on Saturdays. On this day devotees offer yellow items like gram lentils, turmeric knot, jaggery and yellow flowers. Mantra chanting and rituals are also done, which gives relief from debt. The main occasions and festivals of the temple include two main festivals, the first is Shravan month during which special worship and Jalabhishek are done in the temple. And the second is Maha Shivratri, which is the celebration of the marriage of Lord Shiva, in which there is a huge crowd of devotees. Rin Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple is not only a religious place, but it is a ray of hope for those who are struggling with financial or mental problems in life.
