Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is one of the twelve important temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Gopal Mandir also known as the Dwarkadhish Temple is a big Temple in Ujjain City, Madhya Pradesh, India. The second largest temple in Ujjain after the Mahakaleshwar Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It was built in the 19th century by Bayaji Bai Shinde, who was the wife of Maratha King Daulatrao Scindia. The temple has a beautiful Maratha architectural style.

Chaubis Khamba Temple located in Ujjain is one of the popular temples with 24 pillars and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. During the 9th and 10th centuries, the temple was dedicated to Chhoti Mata and Badi Mata and is praised as a holy site among the followers of the Hindu religion. During the time of King Vikramaditya, the temple got its name from the 24 pillars that grace the structure of this temple. The entrance exposes the images of the defender goddesses of the temple, Mahalaya and Mahamaya sculpted on the footsteps of the temple. According to ancient tradition, it was the grand entrance gate of the majestic Mahakala-Vana. The festivals like Shukla Paksha Ashtami and Navratri are celebrated with great enthusiasm.
