Shree Kalabhairaveshwara Temple is dedicated to Lord Kalabhairava, a ferocious avatar of Lord Shiva. The temple is situated in the centre of Bangalore, Karnataka. Vishnuvardhana, the Hoysala ruler, constructed the temple. There is nevertheless evidence that points to the temple's likely older existence, possibly as early as the ninth century. Kalabhairava Swamy Jayanthi is an important festival for this temple. October and March are the best months to visit this temple.
