Shri Sant Ram Samadhi Sthan, Nadiad, is a major religious and cultural center of Gujarat, famous as the Samadhi Sthal of Saint Shri Sant Ram Maharaj. Sant Shri Sant Ram Maharaj, also known as Girnari Bava, Vidhehi Bava or Sukh-Sagarji, came to Nadiad from Girnar in 1872. He did sadhana and social service in Nadiad for 15 years. In 1887, on the full moon day of Magh month, he took a living samadhi, which is still a source of inspiration for devotees. The temple complex of Shri Sant Ram Samadhi Sthan presents a wonderful blend of traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani architectural styles. Apart from the Samadhi of Saint Shri Sant Ram Maharaj, temples of Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Goddess Durga are also located here. The temple complex also has a beautiful garden and water fountain, which provides mental peace to the devotees.
