About Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple

Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple is located on the bank of the Godavari River in the town of Bhadrachalam, in Telangana state. It is one of the most famous temples dedicated to Lord Rama, An avatar of Lord Vishnu. Historically after the devotee Bhadra Maharshi, this place is named Bhadradri or Bhadrachalam. Two Major festivals ‘Vykuntha Ekadasi’ and ‘Sri Ram Navami’ are celebrated which attract a large number of devotees.
