The Chandra Choodeswarar Temple is an ancient Shiva temple located on a rocky hill in Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as Shri Choodeswarar, Goddess Parvati and Maragadambal. It is located on a 250-foot-high hilltop and is hence visible from Hosur city. Chandra Choodeswarar Temple is very famous for car festivals. The best time to visit this temple is between the months of March and April.
