Hampi Shri Krishna Temple

Sri Krishna Temple is located in Hampi, Karnataka and is dedicated to Lord Balakrishna. The king, Krishnadevaraya, built this temple in 1513 AD in order to celebrate the retaking of the eastern kingdom of Udayagiri, or Utkala (in the present-day state of Orissa).
