About Varaha Temple

The Varaha temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in the city of Pushkar in Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu one of the avatars that is Varaha. The temple was built in the 12th century by King Anaji Chauhan as a tribute to Lord Vishnu the construction of the temple follows designs and idols from the story of Lord Varaha. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt in the 18th century.
