About
Navgrah Havan is a ritual performed to appease and seek blessings from all the nine grahs (planets). All the nine planets are believed to influence the life of a person. The Navagrahas include Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangala (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu (North Lunar Node), and Ketu (South Lunar Node).
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than invoking of all the nine grahs(planets) are done by the puajri ji with the help of mantras and prayers. Than chanting of mantras is done by the pujari by following all the vedic rituals. At last hawan is done of all the nine planets and than the puja is completed.
