Narayan Bali Shradh Puja at Somnath starts with sankalp by the devotee, taking the name and gotra of the ancestor. The priest performs Vedic mantras, pind daan using wheat flour, honey, and ghee, and offers water and sesame seeds. Lord Vishnu is worshipped for peace of the soul. The puja ends with Brahmin bhojan and daan for spiritual fulfillment.
