Grah Shanti Puja and Hawan is a powerful Vedic ritual performed at Triveni Ghat, Somnath, to reduce the negative effects of planets (Graha Dosh) in a person’s horoscope. This puja helps calm planets like Shani, Rahu, Ketu, and others that may cause problems in life. By performing this puja with hawan, positive planetary energies are strengthened, bringing peace, balance, and stability in personal, professional, and family life.
The puja starts with sankalp, where the devotee takes a vow mentioning name, gotra, and purpose. The priest invokes Navgrahas through Vedic mantras. Special offerings are made to each planet, followed by Grah Shanti Hawan where ghee, herbs, and grains are offered into the sacred fire. The puja ends with aarti, shanti path, and distribution of prasad.
