Pind Daan And Tarpan Puja In Siddhpur

Pind daan and tarpan are sacred hindu rituals performed to honor and satisfy departed ancestors (pitru). these rituals are believed to help the souls of deceased family members attain peace, libration and blessings in the afterlife. they are especially important during pitru paksha, Amavasya, shradh days and at holy pilgrimage sites such as siddhpur. pind daan involves offering sacred rice balls from rice, barley flour and other sacred items. tarpan is the ritual offering of water mixed with black sesame seeds, kusha grass and prayers. the  devotee offers the water to the ancestors and seeking their blessings.
