Uttarkashi - Rudrabhishek
About
The Vedic ritual of Rudrabhishek is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Sanskrit terms "Rudra," which is another name for Lord Shiva, and "Abhishek," which denotes "Ritual Bathing," are the origins of the phrase "Rudrabhishek." Rudra is known as the most fierce form of Lord Shiva.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of devotees, then invokes Lord Shiva with the help of mantras to seek blessings. Then Pandit conducts Abhishek, along with chanting mantras and prayers. Through which devotees get more success and fulfillment in their lives.
