About
Nav Chandi Hawan is also known as Nav Chandi Yagna" or "Nav Chandi Puja". "Nav" means "Nine" and "Chandi" means "The aggressive avatar of Parvati or Durga". In this Hawan Goddess Chandi is worship. This Hawan is performed to invoke the goddess for taking blessings, protection and prosperity.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Lord Ganesh is done to remove all the hurdles. Then Kalash Sthapana is done by the Panditji. Then in hawan invoking of Goddess Chandi is done and the hawan is started by following all the vedic rituals. At last, arti is done by Panditji with chanting mantras and prayers then puja is completed.
