Chandal Yog appears in a person's Kundali when Guru Graha Yuti is joined with Rahu or Ketu Graha. Guru Chandal Yog will affect a person's mental peace, relations with family and friends will also be affected, the person will always face issues regarding their concentration or focus and their move towards immoral and unethical activities will increase. Guru Chandal Yog shanti is performed to remove all the problems faced due to the changes caused by guru chandal in the Kundali of a person.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Ganesh is done by the pujari ji with the help of mantras to remove the obstacles that occur in the puja. Then chanting of mantras is done according to the ritual for Guru (Jupiter) and Rahu or Ketu. Then puja is performed following all the vedic rituals and at last aarti is done and the puja is completed by taking the blessings of the pujari ji.
