At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then Abhishek is done by offering milk, honey and other sacred items over the shiva lingam while chanting the Laghurudra mantras by pujari ji. At last, arti is done and prasad is distributed. After the puja is completed the bhojan is offered to 5 Brahmin.
