About
The term "Navchandi" is a combination of two words "Nav' means nine and "Chandi" refers to the goddess Chandi or Durga. It is a special ritual where people worship Goddess chandi. The chandi path is recited nine times that's why it's called 'Navchandi'.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees by Pujari ji. Then offering ghee into the sacred fire by chanting the Navchandi mantras by Pujari Ji. Then Homam(fire ritual) is done At last, Arti is done offering flowers, fruits and other items to the deity. Then Prasad is distributed to the devotees.
