The word "Panchamrit" is a combination of two words, "Panch" means five and "Amrit" means holy drink. In this Panchamrit ritual in Siddhtek, Abhishek is done on the deity with the help of panchamrit. It is believed that performing this puja invokes divine blessings. Siddhtek is one of the Ashtavinayak temples. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is also known as Vighnharta.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Lord Ganesh is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then abhishek on Lord Ganesh is done with the helps of panchamrit along with mantras are chanted by the pujari. At last puja is complete and blessing are taken by the devotees.
