Siddhtek - 21 Ganesh Avartan puja

The word "Panchamrit" is combination of two words, "Panch" means five and "Amrit" means holy drink. In this ritual Abhishek done on deity with the helps of panchamrit. It is beleived that performing this puja invokes divine blessings. Siddhtek is one of the Ashtavinayak temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is also known as vighnharta. 

Lord Ganesh is son of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiv. Before starting anything new devotees always worship him as it is considered that he is the God of wisdom and prosperity. Lord Ganesh is also called as Siddhivinayak. Lord Ganesh also known as God of remover of obstacles.    

The "Atharvashirsha" is a auspicious path it is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. The Word "Athrvashirsh" is a sanskrit word the word "Atharva" means referring to the Atharva Veda and "Shirsha" means head. It is beleived that "Athrvashirsh" is written by sage Atharva. During the puja abhishek is done on Lord Ganesh.
