Lord Ganesh is son of Lord Mahadev and Goddess Parvati and he is also known as Vighnharta which means destroyer of the hurdles. Before starting any new journey devotees worship Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh called by 108 different names like Vighnharta, Vinayaka, Gajanan and others.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then kalsh is established. Then invoking of Lord Ganesh is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Than abhishek on Lord Ganesh is done with helps of things like Milk, Ganga Jal and Panchamrit. Than Atharvashirsh Pathan and yagy is done by the pujariji. At last arti of Lord Ganesh is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.
