"Laghu" is a sanskrit word means "Short" or small. Laghu Ganesh Yagy is a small ceremony dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is the God of wisdom who removes hurdles from devotees path. Performing yagy involving the offering of materials into a sacred fire. It is beleived that performing yagy purify the environment.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then kalsh is established. Then invoking of Lord Ganesh is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Than abhishek on Lord Ganesh is done with helps of things like Milk, Ganga Jal and Panchamrit. Than Atharvashirsh Pathan and yagy is done by the pujariji. At last arti of Lord Ganesh is done and blessings are taken by the devotees.
