The word Naivedyam is derived from sanskrit. Naivedyam means "offering to God." Naivedhyam includes cooked food and fruits. Offering food to God is part of the ritual. Offering Naivedyam to the Goddess is a way of expressing faith and devotion to the Goddess. Naivedyam is a sacred offering that embodies a connection between the divine and the devotee. At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than invoking of Goddess Tulja Bhawani is done by the pujariji with help of chanting mantras and prayers. Than pujariji offers Puran poli, rice, and curd as a form of Naivedhyam to Goddess Tulja Bhawani. At last, arti is done of Goddess Tulja Bhawani, and the blessings are taken by the devotees.
