About
Kumkumarchana puja is a sacred ritual where the goddess is worshipped by using Kumkum. The word Kumkumarchana is a combination of two words, "Kumkum" means the red powder made from turmeric and other ingredients and "Archana" means offering. Kumkum attracts the forces of the universe, Shakti and Goddess Parvati. The goddess Tulja Bhawani worshipped Kumkum as a manifestation of Shakti Tattva.
At first sanklp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Goddess Tulja Bhawani is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then devotees offers Kumkum, Akshat, Turmeric and flowers to Goddess. At last, arti is done by the pujari and blessings are taken by the devotees.
