Puja at Gangasagar

Hindus consider the earth to be a goddess. She is called Prithvi. She is worshipped as “Mata”(Mother). She provides everything that a living being requires to survive in this planet. Worshipping Prithvi Mata is considered to be a very auspicious and beneficial to the devotees. In Vedic sculptures Prithvi Mata has been described as the wife of Lord Vishnu and she takes care of all the living beings on the earth. It is said that puja of Prithvi Mata has lots of benefits.

Lord Jagannath is known as the Lord of the Universe. Lord Jagannath known as the supreme power and worshipping him along with his brother Balram and sister Subhadra is known to be very beneficial. Lord Jagannath is considered to be one of the kindest Gods he cannot see his devotees in pain and therefore he fulfils all their desires if they worship him with all their heart and mind. Lord Krishna is called Lord Jagannath when Krishna manifests highest form of transcendental emotions.

Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap is a powerful jaap dedicated to Lord Shiva. Rudra Abhishek is a significant and sacred Vedic ritual performed to get the blessings of Lord Shiva.
