About
Ramarchan puja is dedicated to Lord "Raam" to invoke the blessings of Lord Rama, an avatar of the god Vishnu. The word "Ramarchan" is combination of two words "Rama" and "Archan" means worship or ritualistic homam. These rituals include chanting of Ramacharitamanas. The ritual involves the invocation and worship of the entire family of Lord Sri Ram. This puja involves chanting Ram Katha and Ram Dhun and also worship of Lord Hanuman.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than kalash is established and Lord Ganesh is worshipped. Than invoking of Lord Raam and his entire family is done on betel leaf is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Than Ram katha and Ram Dhun is done by the pujari. At last Lord Hanuman is worshipped and arti is done and puja is complete.
