In Dhwaja Puja at Lingaraj, the priest begins with a Sankalp (vow) for the devotee’s wishes. The flag (Dhwaja) is purified with holy water, milk, and Ganga jal. Then, flowers, rice, incense, and lamps are offered to Lord Shiva while chanting mantras. The sacred flag is tied at Lingaraj Temple with devotion. Finally, aarti is performed, and blessings are sought for success, peace, and protection from negative energies
