“Gandmool Nakshatra” denotes a group of six nakshatras (lunar constellations) that are regarded as unfavorable for some activities in Vedic astrology. These nakshatras are Ashwini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha, Moola, and Revati. When a person is born with the Moon in any of these nakshatras, it is said to have some astrological consequences. Gandmool Nakshatra puja is conducted to reduce potential negative effects associated with being born under these nakshatras. Then, The puja is performed with 27 betel nuts and leaves behalf of 27 nakshatra. Later, Pandit ji performed hawan hawan behalf of the devotees and complete the ritual. At last arti is done and the blessing are taken by the devotees.
