Pashupatinath - Laghu Rudrabhishek and Maha Mitrunjay Jaap with 11 Brahmin and Hawan

Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap is a powerful jaap dedicated to Lord Shiva. It chants for various purposes like protection, good health and overcoming the fear of death. Pashupatinath Rudrashtadhyayi is made of two words Rudra means Shiva and Ashtadhyayi means one with eight chapters, Shiva is included in these eight chapters. Although there are a total of ten chapters in Rudrashtadhyayi, only eight are considered main. Rudrashtadhyayi is a part of Yajurveda and Vedas have been described as the best scriptures. Vedas are parts of Shiva only.
