Pashupatinath - Rudrabhishek Puja with Ashtadhyayi and 108 Mahamrityunjay Jaap

Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap is a powerful jaap dedicated to Lord Shiva. It chants for various purposes like protection, good health and overcoming the fear of death. The Maha Mritunjaya Jap involves repeating jaaps and mantras many times. Although there are a total of ten chapters in Rudrashtadhyayi, only eight are considered main. Rudrashtadhyayi is a part of Yajurveda and Vedas have been described as the best scriptures. Vedas are parts of Shiva only.
