Triveni Abhishek - Prayagraj

Triveni Abhishek in Prayagraj is a unique ritual held at the holy Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati meet. In the Triveni Abhishek Puja in Prayagraj, the ritual begins with a holy bath in the Triveni Sangam. Then the Pujari make a small altar in which the names of the devotees are taken. Then, the Panditji invokes the Goddesses Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati with chanting and prayers. And then the holy water from the Sangam is mixed with milk, honey, flowers and offered as abhishek in the holy rivers. Devotees participate by praying, lighting incense and offering prasad. At last, Aarti is done and the blessings are taken by the devotees.
