Lord Shiva has many names like Shambhu, Mahadev, Shankar and Neelkanth. "Rudra" is one of the famous name of Lord Shiva.  Rudrabhishek puja is a ritual dedicate to Lord Shiva. In this ritual God Mahadev is worshipped in his Rudra form. The Rudra form of Lord Shiva represents his fierce and powerful aspect. The term "Rudra" symbolizes Lord Shiva in his fierce form and "Abhishek" refers to offering. Rudrabhishek puja involves offering sacred liquids and chanting mantras. The Maha Mrityunjay Jaap puja is a sacred Hindu ritual centred around the chanting Jaap of the Maha Mrityunjay mantra, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also known as Rudra Mantra in Basuki Nath which is chanted for various purposes like protection, good health and overcoming the fear of death.
