Brahmin Bhojan at Pashupatinath Temple is a sacred act of charity and devotion performed to seek the blessings of Lord Pashupatinath (Lord Shiva). Offering a wholesome satvik meal to learned Brahmins at this revered place like Shiva shrine is considered an expression of gratitude, humility and dharma. Devotees perform this seva to pray for family well-being, success, peace, relief from obstacles, fulfillment of wishes and the spiritual upliftment of their ancestors. As Pashupatinath is situated on the holy banks of the Bagmati River, acts of charity and feeding Brahmins are regarded as especially auspicious and spiritually rewarding.

The ritual starts with a Sankalp and prayers is done for the invocation of divine blessings. The invited Brahmins are respectfully welcomed, offered seats, and served a freshly prepared satvik meal with devotion and humility. After the meal, devotees offer Dakshina and seek the blessings of the Brahmins. The ceremony ends with prayers to Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity, and the fulfillment of the devotee's wishes.
