Maha mrityunjaya sava lakh jaap is a powerful Vedic anushthan dedicated to lord shiva for the protection healing, longevity and removal of obstacles. in this sacred ceremony, three brahmins collectively chant 1,25,000 recitations of the maha mrityunjaya mantra over a period of three days. the anusthan is performed with complete Vedic procedures, invoking the blessings of lord shiva for physical well-being, mental peace, prosperity and spiritual upliftment.
The three-day anusthan begins with ganesh puja, Sankalp and kalesh sthapana. the three priests then undertake the continuous chanting of the 1,25,000 maha mrityunjaya mantras, maintaining the sanctity and discipline prescribed in the Vedic scriptures. daily offering of flowers, bilva leaves, fruits, incense and ghee are made to lord shiva during the chanting. on the final day, the anusthan concludes with rudrabhishek, purnahuti havan, prayers for the devotee's welfware and distribution of prasad.
