Rahu Shanti Puja is performed to seek peace from the adverse effects traditionally associated with Rahu in Vedic astrology. The puja focuses on Rahu worship along with Navagraha prayers and sacred Vedic rituals. It is traditionally performed for spiritual peace, clarity, protection from obstacles, and to reduce the impact of Rahu-related doshas in the birth chart.
The puja begins with Maha Ganpati and Gauri Pujan, then Kalash Pujan, Navagraha Pujan, and Deep Pujan is done. The pandit ji then performs Rahu Mool Mantra Jaap and Rahu Shanti Pujan, and then Navagraha Jaap is done to seek blessings of the nine planetary deities. The ritual ends with Vishesh Havan using sacred offerings and Shriyo Daan, performed according to Vedic traditions for peace and spiritual well-being.
