Nayaran Nagbali is a vedic ritual which involves two types of Puja - Nayran Bali and the othe Nagbali Puja. Both the Puja are performed for two different reasons. Narayan Bali is performed to get free from unsatisfied souls, while Nagbali Puja is performed to eliminate and reduce the Naag Dosh that is present in a person's birth chart.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than on first day Nag dosh nivaran puja is done by the pujari. In which first invoking of Lord Shiva is done along with Serpent Lord by the pujari with the help of mantras and jaap. Than offering of things like flowers, milk etc is done by the pujari ji. On the second day Pitru dosh nivaran puja and Pind daan is done in which pujari ji does jaap and offers things like rice, water etc. to the ancestors of the devotees. On the last day Tirh puja is done in which the invoking of Tirh Nadi (river) is done and Sapth Sagar (Seven Sea) by the pujari with the help of mantras and jaap by the pujari and the puja is completed by giving aahuti by the pujari ji. This puja performed by 3 pujaris.
