Ark Vivah Puja is a sacred ritual performed to reduce the negative effects of Mangal Dosha (Kuja Dosha) and certain marital obstacles indicated in a person's horoscope. In this puja, the individual is symbolically married to the Ark (Aak) plant, which is considered as highly auspicious and associated with Lord Surya. This symbolic marriage is believed to neutralize doshas that may otherwise create delays, misunderstandings, or difficulties in married life. The puja is performed according to Vedic traditions by experienced priests using authentic mantras and sacred rituals for spiritual harmony and positive marital prospects.
The puja begins with gauri ganesh pujan to seek the blessings of lord ganesha and goddess gauri for the successful completion of the ritual. then shodashopachar pujan, kalash sthapana and Navagraha pujan to invoke the blessings of all planetary deities and remove astrological obstacles. after the preliminary rituals, the ark vivah puja is performed according to the Vedic traditions then special kum kum archana and durva archana for divine blessings, prosperity and harmony in married life. the puja ends with vishesh homam, where sacred offerings are made into the holy fire while chanting Vedic mantras for the removal of doshas, fulfillment of desires and overall well being.
