Angarak Dosh Puja is a powerful ritual performed to reduce the negative effects of Angarak Yog, which is formed due to the conjunction of Mars (Mangal) and Rahu in a horoscope. This dosha may cause anger, obstacles, disputes, financial instability, health concerns and delays in important life events such as marriage and career. The puja is performed to seek the blessings of divine energy for peace, protection, and prosperity.
The Angarak Dosh Puja starts with Gauri Ganesh Pujan to invoke Lord Ganesha and Goddess Gauri for obstacle free puja. Then Sadopchar Pujan, Navagraha Pujan and Kalash Pujan is performed to seek the blessings of all divine energies and planetary deities. Next, the Angarak Yog Pujan is performed to pacify the malefic effects of Mars (Mangal) and Rahu. Devotees then offer Kum Kum Archan, Durva Archan, and Pushpa Archan with devotion. The ritual continues with Vishesh Navagraha Mantra Jaap to strengthen positive planetary influences and then Vishesh Homam is performed, where sacred offerings are made into the holy fire for the removal of Angarak Dosh and fulfillment of wishes. The puja ends with Aarti and blessings are taken by devotee.
