3 Brahman Bhojan - Prayagraj

About
Brahman Bhojan in Prayagraj is a sacred ritual where satvik vegetarian food is offered to Brahmins to honor ancestors. It typically takes place during Shradh, Pitru Paksha, Barsi, or special events like birthdays. Food is served after a sankalp (vow) invoking your family's gotra and ancestors. This practice brings peace to departed souls of up to 14 generations, reduces ancestral afflictions (Pitru Dosh), and brings blessings of harmony, prosperity, and fulfilled wishes to the family.
Note:- In this, food is served to 3 Brahmins.
The Brahmin meal begins with a Sankalpa, where the host prays for the peace of the ancestors and seeks blessings. The Brahmins are invited, welcomed with respect and seated for the meal. Sattvic vegetarian food is prepared with purity and offered with devotion. After the meal, the Brahmins are given dakshina, clothes or useful items according to their ability. The ritual ends with prayers for the satisfaction of the ancestors, removal of ancestral sins and blessings of health, happiness and prosperity for the family.
