The puja is performed with devotion and specific mantras dedicated to Asht Bhairav. It is considered especially beneficial for seeking protection from negative energies, fear, obstacles and unwanted disturbances, while promoting courage, stability, and peace in life.
The puja begins with Gauri Ganesh Pujan, then Kalash Pujan and Navagraha Pujan is done to invoke divine blessings and establish a sacred atmosphere. After this, Asht Bhairav Vishesh Dhyan is performed by meditating upon and invoking the form of Lord Bhairav. Asht Bhairav Mool Mantra Punascharan is done, in which the prescribed Asht Bhairav Mool Mantra is chanted with proper sankalp and devotion. The ritual ends with Asht Bhairav Parayan, along with prayers and offerings seeking the blessings, protection and grace of Lord Bhairav.
